Overall I am beyond thrilled with the return of classic Devil May Cry and can't wait for the next step in the franchise. Other than that, you can easily get all the gear and abilities for everyone without having to spend an extra dime. I do have to criticize the inclusion of microtransactions, but thankfully they are not too predatory, as they only reduce the grind which isn't too bad except for one ability for each character. The story is also the best since 3, having some really good character moments and revelations, though I do think the writing was a bit tighter in 3 overall.
V is a little bit more mixed in my opinion, with his summoner style of gameplay being a bit too passive for my taste, but can still be enjoyable especially to anyone that does prefer to play it more safe. This addition allows to really spice up your moves and abilities thanks to how varied the different arms are with them all having viability in any situation. Nero has gained a level of complexity that was not found in 4 with his Devil Breakers.
